Mystique Twirlers were formed in 1996 by Angela Walker in Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire. In previous years to this we were originally the Tewkesbury Five Star Majorettes but when Angela took over we became Mystique and joined the N.B.T.A where we competed at regional competitions to qualify for the National Championships held in Torbay each year in October.

Over the years we have achieved many awards including several National Championship titles. We have also represented England in various events with our most recent and proudest achievment being at this years NBTA World Championships in Eindhoven, when we took 2nd place in the banniers sections.

We have again won entitlement into the England team for the European Championships which will take place in Croatia at Easter next year. This time we have the pleasure of representing England in the Senior Dance team section and the Banniers section along with a few other individual/duets but these members still have to compete again to find out if they will take the floor for England or be reserve.

We train on Saturdays at the Tewkesbury Link Road Youth Club and at Gordano Sports Centre, Portishead on Sundays and are trained by Sarah Boden who is an NBTA qualified teacher/judge.
